Well, Its another New Year and we are getting off to a flying start.

We have a Door Supervisors course beginning on the 08 Jan 2010 and finishing on Sun 10 Jan 2010. This course is the BII course and successful candidates will be able to apply for an SIA Door Supervision Licence.

We still have places available on this course and it costs £175pp.

Licensing requirements change in June of this Year and from June anyone enrolling on the Door Supervision course will have to complete a Disengagement and Breakaway module.

We would like to announce that the Door Supervisors course scheduled for the end of Nov has been cancelled due to lack of numbers enrolling.

We have added course dates in Dec as an alternative and can announce a Christmas special price of £140 per person. The course will run from Fri 11 Dec 09 to Sun 13 Dec 09. This course is again being run in conjunction with the Door Supervisor Training Organisation (DSTO)

Our second Weekend Door Supervisor course finished on Sun 20 Sept and was a great success. While a couple of people on the course recognised that relying on Public transport, especially on a Sunday was a pain the benefits of being able to gain a licensed qualification over 3 days, 2 of which are a weekend was priceless.

Most of those who attended said they would not be able to get time off to do the more traditional 4 Working Day course.

The Sun is reporting that up to 40 convicted terrorists have been released fron Gaol and another 50 plotters, including al-Qaeda trained Sohail Qureshi, will be free soon.

Security experts said Britain’s justice system was lax compared to the US, where Gaoled terrorists often never get out.

East London dental assistant Qureshi – seized while trying to travel to Afghanistan to attack British troops – is one of 25 Islamic fanatics due to be freed within 12 months.

A further 25 will be out within three years. And 40 more are already free men.

At least five of those are still classified as “high risk” and have to be closely monitored by cops and intelligence agents.

Qureshi, 31, who dreamed of being a martyr, was held in October 2006 with night-vision goggles, £9,000 in cash and military kit.

Al-Qaeda extremists have claimed that home-grown terrorists are plotting to attack targets in Britain.

According to reports, in an internet magazine read by thousands of Islamic extremists Al-Qaeda has labelled Britain and Europe as a bigger enemy than the United States.

It further says that the strikes are being planned by terrorists living in Britain and others overseas, and warns of “spectacular attacks”, ‘The Sun’ reports.
