Door Supervision Course
This course is designed to provide the information you need to gain the basic knowledge of a Door Supervisor, successful completion of the course will enable you to apply for an SIA (Security Industry Authority) Door Supervision License.

Assessment method
Units 1, 2 & 3 are assessed by means of multiple choice question papers (1 for each unit). Unit 1 consists of 40 questions, Unit 2 consists of 45 questions and Unit 3 consists of 20 questions.
Unit 4 is assessed by means of a true/false scenario paper and practical assessment run by the instructor.

- Unit 1 – Working within the Private Security Industry
- Unit 2 – Working as a Door Supervisor within the Private Security Industry
- Unit 3 – Conflict Management within the Private Security Industry
- Unit 4 – Physical Intervention Skills within the Private Security Industry
Pass marks
Units 1, 2 and 3 have a 70% pass mark Unit 1, 28 out of 40, Unit 2, 32 out of 45 and Unit 3, 14 out of 20).
Unit 4 has a 100% pass mark. The Unit 4 assessment is externally set and internally assessed.

Entry requirements
Each candidate MUST produce ID in line with SIA guidelines. Each candidate will also complete a Basic Skills Agency literacy assessment in line with awarding body and SIA requirements.
